Cake 4 Sure | Veronica Christian | About Us
Cake 4 Sure, previously known as “The Spice of Life Kitchen” came into being upon my early retirement. I decided to focus all my attention on what I really love to do, “baking cakes to make people happy”! I am so pleased that now I have the opportunity to serve you, along with my family and friends.
My background includes being extensively trained by other master artists, who have taught all over the world. I have been trained at the Wilton School of Cake Decorating & Confectionery Art, just outside of Chicago, Illinois, as well. Because of the love of the sugar arts, I became a Wilton method instructor. I’ve been teaching and spreading the love of the art for over 5 years. My latest accomplishment is a sand castle wedding cake that was featured in the February/March 2008 issue of “American Cake Decorating” magazine, a subscription most cake decorators use to inspire them.
Not only do my cakes look amazing, but they taste amazing too! I always use the freshest and the finest ingredients. I tell my students that it is not enough that you have a beautiful cake. It must taste better than it looks. The cake will be the centerpiece of your event. It is important that your cake lives up to that position. Most of the large baking conglomerates (and some smaller bakeries) use frozen cake. I do not freeze my cakes. Because I do not carry cakes in bulk, I am able to customize your cake to suit your needs, giving you that extra personal touch.
I am so pleased that I have had the opportunity through my website to share my love for baking and the sugar arts. Take the time and view my site and check out all of the pictures. I deliver within a 85 mile radius of Louisville, KY. I‘m sorry to say, there is a fuel charge outside of the 10 miles of my office. Call or email me with your cake designs or pictures. For weddings, please request an appointment for consultations. I look forward to making your next event the most special with a customized cake that you and your guests will always remember.
